They do bring your checks around the end of the movie, but it wasn't distracting while you were watching the movie. Mom and I got the chocolate ice cream brownie dessert and they brought it out at a perfect time right at the beginning of the movie which was awesome. The staff came around at the beginning of the movie to ask if anyone was ready to order.
The actual theater was great with reclining seats, but not power reclining seats like at a regal theater. People were buying them when they got there though, so that is an option too! Seats are assigned, so we got ours online before we went to make sure we had the seat we wanted. There is a bar when you walk in to the left where you can get a drink while you wait for your theater to be cleaned. At SMG you can watch the best movies while enjoying in-theater dining and full bar. The theater is EXTREMELY clean compared to any other theater I have been in, including the bathrooms. Studio Movie Grill exists to open hearts and minds one story at a time. We HAD to see the Lion King on opening week, so we got tickets to go here. It isn't that we don't have them, we just don't have one close to where we live in Tennessee. This makes me afraid to order any item from the kitchen much less have someone bring it to me with out a mask on. I am surprised this place has not been shut down. But worse still we're the two screaming children and the staff that wouldn't do anything about it. It seems this establishment would want to protect everyone, staff and patrons. We have been told at the Dallas locations that wearing a mask is a corporate mandate but it is not being followed at this location. We grabbed a drink at the bar and the female bartender was wearing hers as well as some of the servers we saw but other servers bringing food into the theater did not. We love this place and have come here many times however since the pandemic we have noticed the GM is not wearing his mask and the kitchen staff pouring your water and soft drinks are not either.
